  My first purchase of an antique quilt - it was 21years ago in San Francisco.

 I was young and didn't have any knowledge of quilt, but the shop owner explained

each one of the quilts' background that I was interested in.

   The shop was gone when I visited there again, but I still remember her smile and kindness, even now.

わたしが洋服とアメリカンキルトを扱うお店をやっていたとき、

一枚一枚仕入れた、たくさんのキルトが、わたしの店を通り抜けていきました。

これはわたしが２１年前に、サンフランシスコで初めて購入したキルトで、

そのときのやりとりなども思い出深く、いまも手元に残しています。
